Welcome to our Interior Design Services page! At BK Constructions Pty LTD, we believe that every space should reflect the unique personality and style of its occupants. Lisa our interior designer and Brendan our builder work together to turn your vision into reality.
Interior Design Process
1. Client Brief:
Consultation: We start with a detailed consultation to understand your vision, preferences, and requirements.
Questionnaire: We provide a questionnaire covering style, colour, and theme preferences to gather essential information.
2. Collaborative Mood Board:
Using the insights from the client brief, we create a collaborative mood board that reflects your style, colour scheme, and desired theme. This helps visualise the overall look and feel of the space.
3. Sample Collection:
We gather samples of materials, textures, fabrics, and finishes based on the mood board. These samples are presented in a beautiful samples folder desgined by Co. Home Lifestyle, which will allow you to keep your samples well organised for each room. You can request a flat lay to help you with your choices.
4. Personalised PC Items Selection:
With your input and preferences in mind, we personally select PC items (Primary Cost items) such as fixtures, fittings, appliances, and lighting that align with the design concept and budget. This also includes the review and procurement stages.
5. Design Presentation:
Once the selections are finalised, we present a comprehensive design plan that includes mood boards, sample boards, and a detailed list of PC items for your approval.
6. Implementation and Project Management:
After approval, we manage the implementation phase, working closely with the builder to bring your design to life. We ensure quality craftsmanship and timely execution throughout the project.
This process highlights our client-focused approach, collaborative design methods, and attention to detail in selecting the perfect elements for each custom project.
Interior Design Packages
Complimentary Introduction - NO CHARGE
Not sure which interior design service is right for your project? Begin with a complimentary 30-minute discussion by phone or at the BK Constructions office. We’ll talk through your project, explain the design and selections process, and identify the most suitable support for your needs.
This introduction does not include detailed design advice, mood boards, product research or sourcing.
Complete Interior Design Package - $5,950 inc. gst
A complete, coordinated interior design and selections service for your new build. This package includes an initial consultation, overall design direction, mood boards, a colour and finishes palette, Prime Cost selections, fittings and fixtures schedules, lighting selections, kitchen and joinery concepts, and bathroom and laundry selections.
It also includes up to two showroom or shopping appointments, furniture and décor guidance, one consolidated revision, and your personalised BK Constructions project planner and sample folder.
The package can be included as a separate service item within your BK Constructions building contract.
Select Different Services : Hourly Rate Charged + Materials
Choose only the interior design services you need, from mood boards and colour palettes to product selections, schedules, joinery concepts, showroom visits and styling advice.
Before work begins, we’ll agree on the scope and provide an estimate of the design time required. A two-hour minimum applies to individually booked services. Additional meetings, revisions, sourcing and services outside the agreed scope are charged per hour with your approval.
